Effective ergonomic lamp, with multiple lighting options including a practical red light to avoid being dazzled in the middle of the night. Its architecture allows, with a small footprint, to uniformly illuminate a large area. The battery life is there after 2 months of use.

The Klarus CL2 Camping Lantern was the perfect family camping lamp for us on a recent trip.

We were looking for something that would hang up in the porch area of our tent and provide enough light in the instance of us being rained in and trying to amuse ourselves. The added feature of turning into a torch turned out to be very handy for trips to the lo in the middle of the night (though I also had a head torch, so my son wanted to carry his own [this] torch).

This lantern gave out more than enough light to completely light up our tent porch, aided by the panels being adjustable to direct the light where needed. The ability to reduce the brightness and produce yellow, softer, light proved extremely useful when one of my sons wanted a light source to be on the whole night..........a couple of hours on the high setting, plus the rest of the night on the lower setting, lasted the whole night through on a single charge.

All in all, a fantastic addition to any camping setup. Would highly recommend.

A little expensive but well worth it, works well and fantastic in the camper van. Lasts a long time very cool.
