Exactly what I was looking for for tactical lighting.

Lighting and ease of use very good. Up to my expectations for a "reasonable" price. Good qualitative impression.

This will be my third XT1C in over 15 years. I am never without a flashlight and they have gone through tremendous use and abuse over the years. I've had to perform some minor repairs on the last two (the pins on the strobe/selector button fall out), but I've not found a better set up for the price. The dual switch setup allows instant access to either flashlight illumination or strobe. Further, the flashlight switch allows momentary light versus having to "click" the light on and off. And the size of the unit is comparable to a roll of nickles if necessary....if you know what I mean.
