This now my second one, and for that it means something.
The magnetic tail cap is a genius addition for hands-free use. the XT21X Pro exceeds expectations.
The Klarus XT21X is a well built Tactical Flash light , the weight is excellent , the brightness is excellent and the price is worth every penny. That said , keep in mind that this Flash Light has several light settings , S.O.S. Mode and a Strobe Light and try to keep it to a bare minimum to preserve battery life. Also it can be used for Law Enforcement , Ranch use , Camping and even House Hold use. This light is also good for Varmint hunting at night and every use you can think of. The light is so Bright that on it's Highest setting it can probably blind an attacker momentarily if you don't have a means to Defend yourself. Just a Personal NOTE : after prolonged use the battery compartment will start to overheat , so try to use it only when needed. I hope it work's for you as it did for me and God Bless.
It's a very very bright flood light. You can not focus this flash light ,it is only a very very bright flood light
I got this flashlight as my first 21700 flashlight to try out the new format which has higher capacity than the usual 18650, and since it is included, and rechargeable inside the light, no need to worry about another charger. I have bought Klarus lights before and the quality was always second to none, and I trust the brand.
The control is the usual Klarus dual-switch which allows flawless tactical control, and with the 4000 lumen output, this light will turn night into day easily. The duration of the High output, I think, was definitely helped by the 21700 battery as it doesn't show any obvious step-off in output, and the battery should be able to support it longer compared to the smaller 18650.
Quality is the usual Klarus, smooth anodizing, no faults on the lens and beam pattern.
The light is slightly thicker than the 18650 version, but that's to be expected and not a distraction. The UI, as expected, can be switched between Tactical and Outdoor modes. My preference is for the outdoor mode since I'm a couch commando.
Highly recommended as this is a proven product, upgraded with the newest battery.
