Simple operation dual switches top one straight to strobe .
Bottom switch main modes comes on high first half click to switch ,the only thing I didn't like was the way you unscrew the head to charge it ,but that's just my preference, works well though ,my first klarus I have many flashlights.
Also a correction this light does have mode memory so if you don't want it on bright turn it off at the preferred brightness amd it will come back on at same level this deserved clarification
